To give everyone an update: the collaboration effort with Healthy in a Hurry and College Goes Vegan is in full swing.
So far, our team has stayed on-track for the release of Vegans of Rutgers, the only website you’ll need to live an affordable healthy lifestyle while at school (we hope).
Moreover, the first big milestone we have accomplished is to decide on our CMS platform. Using Wikia, allows our group to provide you with more content in fewer clicks. Instead of having our aspiring dietitians click through each of our individual sites, we will house all our content on a single website. Think of Vegans of Rutgers, as a personalized-wiki to your nutritional needs.
Second, another leap we took is to decide on releasing video trailers to help spread the word about our new website and our shared mission with PETA. Because of the wide-range of content we’re planning on releasing, we figured a video trailer will give everyone a sneak peak of Vegans of Rutgers. Plus, in class, we have been using digital tools to help build on our video producing abilities. For HODJ’s first video, testing out Premiere Pro and After Effects will help create a sharper and more interactive trailer for Vegans of Rutgers.
All in all, I hope everyone is as excited as we are for ongoing collaborative effort.
